Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for Syntra ODBC purchases. All payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record.

1. Overview

Syntra ODBC is sold through Paddle.com, who acts as the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record for all purchases. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and refunds on behalf of Tradeline Consulting Inc. ("Tradeline", "we", "us", or "our").

This policy is subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions and Paddle's Refund Policy. If local consumer protection laws provide you with additional or non-waivable rights, the highest level of rights will always apply.

2. Free Trial

Syntra ODBC offers a free trial so you can evaluate the software before purchasing. We encourage you to use the trial to confirm that Syntra ODBC meets your requirements and is compatible with your environment before placing an order.

3. Global Refund Policy

You may request a full refund for any reason within 14 days of completing your Transaction, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms. If you exercise this right, you will receive a full refund of the relevant charges paid, unless during that 14-day period you started downloading, streaming, using, or benefiting from the Product after agreeing for it to be made available before the end of that 14-day period.

After the 14-day refund period has elapsed, transactions are non-refundable unless required by applicable local consumer protection law, or unless the Product is materially defective or not as described.

Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.

4. Country-Specific Withdrawal Rights

Where local consumer protection laws grant unconditional withdrawal rights, those rights apply and override this policy.

  • European Union / EEA / Switzerland / United Kingdom: Consumers have the right to withdraw for any reason within 14 days of completing a Transaction and receive a full refund of the relevant charges paid. This right does not apply if, during that 14-day period, you started downloading, streaming, using, or benefiting from the Product after agreeing for it to be made available before the end of that 14-day period.
  • Turkey / Israel: Consumers have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw and receive a full refund.
  • South Korea / Brazil / China: Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel and receive a full refund.
  • Canada: Consumers have a 7-day unconditional right to cancel and receive a full refund.
  • Singapore: Consumers have a 5-day unconditional right to cancel and receive a full refund.

5. How to Request a Refund

To withdraw, cancel, or request a refund, you may:

  • use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your transaction confirmation email;
  • submit a request via the support link provided in your receipt or within your account's billing page;
  • visit paddle.net and select the "Request refund" option; or
  • email us at support@syntraodbc.com and we will assist you with the process.

If eligible, refunds will be processed using the same payment method where possible and within 14 days of approval of the request.

6. Refunds for Technical or Product Defects

If you experience persistent technical issues or a material defect that prevents you from accessing the features or benefits as described:

  • contact us first at support@syntraodbc.com to attempt to resolve the issue or request a refund;
  • if the issue cannot be resolved, contact Paddle's support team and provide details of the issue and any response received from us;
  • where there is evidence of a material technical or product defect, Paddle will issue a refund in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

7. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period and will prevent any further payments from being taken.

You can cancel through the "Manage subscription" link in your confirmation email, through your account's billing page, or by contacting us at support@syntraodbc.com.

8. Refunds After the 14-Day Period

Refund requests submitted after the 14-day refund period are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Paddle may, at its sole discretion, approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request. This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage you to contact Paddle or us prior to raising a chargeback or dispute with your bank, card issuer, or other payment provider. If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, access to Syntra ODBC may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed.

10. Effect of Refund

If you receive a refund, access to Syntra ODBC will cease and your license will be deactivated. You should uninstall Syntra ODBC from all machines.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction. We recommend saving or printing a copy for your records.
